Junior Zookeepers: Polar Bear
Learn about the Arctic’s wildest creature in this new program. Make delicious treats for polar bears Gus and Ida, and enjoy a chat with the keepers who care for them.

Ages: 6-10

Tricks of Animal Training
Ever wonder how the keepers train the sea lions? Want to learn how to teach your pet to do a cool trick? Learn the tricks of the trade with a professional trainer in this motivating program. Learn what a clicker is and how it works. Learn what it means to target train and end the program by watching our keepers interact with the animals during a live training demonstration. You’ll also receive a clicker at the end of the class.

Junior Keepers: Snow Leopard
Learn about the zoo’s newest residents, the snow leopards. Make delicious treats for big cats Zoe and Chocolate, meet the their keeper, and participate in a snow leopard tracking activity.

Photo Safari
Lean the ins and outs of wildlife photography in this introduction to photography class. First, we'll teach you what makes a good picture, then we'll head out into the zoo for a photo safari. This two-part class includes an animal guest and a photo art project.
Note: Participants must bring a digital camera.

Junior Keepers: Tropic Zone

Discover what it's like to take care of the hundreds of animals living in the zoo’s Tropic Zone. You’ll participate in the early morning bird census and watch the animals eat their breakfast. Afterward, you'll head behind the scenes for a tour of the zoo’s kitchen.

Ages: 6-10

Please include your payment for requests by mail. If registering through the web, the registrar will contact you to obtain your credit card information.
