Summer Programs
These multi-day programs are filled with live animals, zoo exploration, crafts, games and more. Snack and a T-shirt are included. Children bring their lunch for all sessions. Space is limited.
Kinderzoo - SOLD OUT! During this 4-day adventure we'll explore animal groups including mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians. Crafts, hands-on activities, and animal guests are all part of the fun!
Ages: 4–5 years old (4 years old by June 1st, 2010)

Week of Wildlife - SOLD OUT!Discover the diverse worlds of the animal kingdom as we explore different habitats. This 5-day program will focus on rainforests, temperate forests, wetlands, polar habitats and conservation. Campers will also have a chance to meet the zoo’s newest residents, king penguins, and their keepers!
Ages: 6–7 years old

Zoo Explorer - SOLD OUT!Delve into the world of wildlife. Learn what makes the Central Park Zoo's animals and their homes so special, including our new king penguins and snow leopards. Conservation lessons will also teach children how to help wildlife.

Junior Keepers - SOLD OUT!Want to be a zookeeper when you grow up? Find out about keeper responsibilities in this 5-day program. Meet keepers, go behind the scenes and help prepare special treats for several zoo critters. A special focus on the new king penguin exhibit will inspire the junior keeper to design an exhibit of their own for the end-of-week “Exhibit Fair.”

Important Information for Campers who are registered for Summer Camp 2010
All children attending the Central Park Zoo Summer Camp must fill out and submit the following forms:
- The Department of Health requires all campers to submit a complete Health Record For Children in Summer Camps. Completed forms must be received by the Central Park Zoo Education Department by June 1, 2010. IF WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILD’S COMPLETED HEALTH FORM BY THE 1ST DAY OF CAMP, S/HE WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE PROGRAM. - All campers must fill in the online Release Form by June 1, 2010. Be sure to note ALL guardians that are permitted to pick up your child. Click Here to fill out the form.
Additional form for all campers enrolled in camps for 6-12 year olds:
- On certain days when the weather is nice, we plan on taking the campers to a grassy area near the Children’s Zoo to have their lunch. Since it is technically off of Zoo grounds, we ask that you fill out the parental consent form.
