Girls Scouts (2nd - 3rd Grade)

Brownies: Pets
Looking for the purr-fect way for your Brownie to earn thier Pets badge? In this badge workshop, Brownies will explore which animals make appropriate pets and how to be a responsible pet owner. They’ll also embark on a quest to learn how to care for different types of animals and how to make simple, fun enrichment for thier own pets.

Girls Scouts (4th - 5th Grade)
SATURDAY 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Juniors: Animal Habitats
Juniors will earn their Animal Habitats badge by exploring the Central Park Zoo to learn all about animals and their habitats. They'll learn about and meet some animals from habitats all around the world and also get an insider view of how we recreate some animals' habitats in the Zoo.

Girl Scouts (K - 1st Grade)

Daisy: Eco Learner
Daisies, earn your Eco Learner badge by going on a nature trek in Central Park Zoo! Through games and challenges, you will discover the many ways you can take action to protect nature! During the trek through habitats at the Zoo, you'll make a few pit stops to meet some resident animals up close.

Brownies, have you heard the latest buzz? You can earn your Bugs badge at Central Park Zoo! We’ll learn all about insects and cover the badge steps including meeting some insects from the Zoo, exploring insect habitats, and taking a bug themed micro-field trip!

Brownies: Shapes in Nature
Calling all Girl Scout Troop Leaders! Book one of our private Girl Scout Badge in a Day workshops for your whole troop at the Central Park Zoo. Workshops include steps toward earning the badge plus visits to select exhibits and meeting an animal up-close. Badges are handed out to all Girl Scouts that complete the activities at the Zoo!

Do you dream of becoming a zookeeper or veterinarian? Maybe a field biologist? In this badge workshop, you’ll explore different careers in wildlife conservation by meeting animals and the people that work with them, begin planning your future career, and much, much more! Available for both Juniors and Cadettes.

Caddettes: Animal Helpers
Cadettes can earn their Animal Helpers badge as they explore many examples of the powerful relationship between humans and animals. During the program, they’ll meet a few resident ambassador animals and learn about the significance of the human-animal connection in wildlife conservation.
