Girl Scout Programs
The Central Park Zoo is a great place for Girl Scouts of all ages to learn about animals, conservation, and more.
These fun-filled workshops are a way for your Girl Scout to earn badges! Each 90 minute program is packed with fun activities, animal meet and greets and exhibit visits, all while completing the steps to earn a badge! Added bonus, badges are included at the end of the workshop!
Brownies Badge Workshop: Pets
Looking for the purr-fect way to earn your Brownie Pets badge? Together we’ll explore which animals make appropriate pets and how to be a responsible pet owner. You’ll also embark on a quest to learn how to care for different types of animals and how to make simple enrichment for your pet.

Brownies Badge Workshop: Shapes in Nature
Brownies, earn your NEW Shapes in Nature badge at the Zoo! Through observation and data collection, animal themed activities and games, scouts will complete all 5 of the steps in this badge.

Daisy Badge Workshop: Shapes in Nature
Daisies can now earn their NEW Shapes in Nature Badge at the Zoo! Using the Zoo as our field site, we'll observe the natural world upclose, paying attention to patterns we notice, and create nature inspired art.

In this virtual program, you will earn your Animal Habitats badge by exploring our zoos and aquarium to learn all about animals and their habitats. You'll meet animals from habitats all around the world and get an insider view of how we recreated habitats for some animals in our zoos and aquarium.

In this virtual badge workshop, you’ll explore different careers in wildlife conservation by meeting animals and the people that work with them, begin planning your future career, and much, much more! Available for both Juniors and Cadettes.

Seniors: Voice for Animals
Find out about the global work that Wildlife Conservation Society does to help animals around the world. You will earn your Voice for Animals badge by meeting some of the animals in our parks, chatting with zoo and aquarium experts and learning how you can get more involved in wildlife conservation.
