Looking for more WCS Education programs for teens and adults?

Teens (grades 9-12) can join us on select Saturday mornings for Zookeeping 101 here at the Central Park Zoo! Our final session for the season will be April 5th to learn about Conservation Science.

Zookeeping for Grownups

Did you daydream of becoming a zoo keeper? Wish you could monkey around with fellow animal lovers without leaving the city? Hoof it over to the Central Park Zoo to discover the ins and outs of animal care! Discover the ins and outs of Animal Care at the Central Park Zoo as you live out your childhood dream job!

In Zookeeping for Grownups, you'll get hands-on, messy animal experiences at the Central Park Zoo. You'll support keepers with everyday chores ranging from cleanup and meal prep, to training and play time. You'll also get up close and personal with small ambassador animals and meet an expert from the Animal Department. Be prepared to get messy! Animal handling not included.
