Our camp curriculum are designed with age appropriate activities and structure. Please be mindful of the grade and age requirements for each camp when signing up your camper. For KinderZoo camps, all campers must be at least 4 years old on their first day of camp and be able to use the bathrooms independently.

Toddler Camp: Ages 2-3 with Adult
Scaly & Smooth, Feathery & Furry
Discover the world of wildlife during this one hour "caregiver and me" mini-camp, where you and your child explore the natural world through animal encounters and guided zoo exploration.
DATES: Aug 3-7, Aug 10-14 or Aug 17-21
TIME: 10:00-11:00am
KinderZoo: Entering PreK4-K
Animals & Me
Join us as we discover the many ways humans and animals interact! Campers investigate animal related jobs from paleontologists to farmers through hands-on activities, Zoo exploration, and up-close animal encounters.
DATES: Jun 15-19, Jun 22-26, Jun 29-Jul 2, Jul 13-17, Aug 3-7, Aug 24-28 or Aug 31-Sep 4
TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm (full); 9:00am-12:30pm (half)
Week of Wildlife: Entering 1st-2nd
A Diverse World
Your camper will explore the diversity across the animal kingdom during this adventure-filled week at the Zoo! Mysteries, Zoo expeditions and live animal encounters will guide our discoveries each day.

Zoo Explorer: Entering 3rd-5th
Eco-Avengers
This week, campers will be inducted into the eco-avenger league, and together, investigate confounding conundrums concerning wildlife and wild places around the world. We will explore the Zoo, meet amazing animals and learn how scientists, investigators, and New Yorkers help animals around the world.

Junior Keepers: Entering 6th-8th
A to Zoo
Junior Keepers will learn what it takes to be a keeper, from daily husbandry to exhibit design. From ants to alpacas, campers investigate animal diversity and how keepers care for the diverse animals at the Zoo.

Conservation in Action: Entering 9th-12th
Our Changing World
During this two-week program, teens explore global conservation initiatives through daily keeper work, field investigations, and real-time science research. Together, we will explore how zoos connect to conservation movements around the globe!
