Booking Tips:

  • The Book Now button will bring you to our camp Parent Dashboard. If you already have an account, please enter your login information. If not, please create a new family profile (you will only have to do this once to enroll your camper(s).
  • Enter the camper's date of birth and select the grade they will enter this fall. This ensures that only camps appropriate for their age/grade level are available for purchase.
      • You cannot edit once you move on to the next step in registration.
      • If you entered the incorrect camper DOB and/or grade, please email cpzeducation@wcs.org.
  • WCS Members, please have your membership ID# ready. Entering it will unlock access to exclusive membership pricing.

Myths and Monsters

From magical creatures to fictional beasts, many of our favorite characters were inspired by wildlife and wild places around the world! Campers will explore myths, legends and pop culture characters and investigate the natural phenomena behind the fiction. Through animal encounters, hands-on investigations, and thrilling adventures, this camp will be fun for everyone!

Nature Explorers

Attention explorers! At Nature Explorers Camp, we'll get up-close to all the wonders Central Park has to offer, including flora and fauna, exhibit visits, and animal encounters. Warning - explorers might get messy!

Sci-Fi Zoo: Animals Out of This World

Join us for this 1-day camp to learn about some amazing, out-of-this-world animals! By exploring special exhibits around the zoo, we’ll see some amazing adaptations animals have that will almost seem unearthly! Campers will meet animals up close and engage in extra-terrestrial research to see if science-fiction might not be that fictional after all!

Animals and Art

Looking to get your camper's creative juices flowing? In this 1-day camp, campers will explore how animals make and inspire all kinds of art and they'll create their own artistic masterpieces. This camp is filled with hands-on activities, scientific investigations, arts, crafts and animal encounters.

Animal Tales

In Animal Tales, campers will embark on a wild adventure at the zoo! They'll listen to beloved animal-themed stories and will connect literature to the zoo and our ambassador animals. From history to the classical tales, this camp will spark the imagination while fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife and the stories we tell.

Pokézoo

Calling all trainers, get ready to head on an adventure! In this camp, campers will explore the amazing animals that inspired different creatures in some of our favorite monster-themed franchises! From the warm, bird filled tropics to the coldest zones with penguins, campers will meet animals up close and learn more about what it takes to see them all!

Winter and March Spring Break: Animal Scientist

Being an Animal Scientist is a cool job! In this camp, we'll explore the amazing people who work closely with the animals in our zoo and around the world. We'll take a close look at a few different scientists who study animals and their habitats. Animal guests, Zoo visits, and hands-on activities are all part of this fun filled day camp!

Spring Break: Wild Survivor

Throughout the animal kingdom and around the world, animals must outwit, outplay and outlast in order to survive every single day. This week, campers will put thier own skills to the test as they explore the Central Park Zoo, meet animals upclose and complete team challenges, all while looking for the ultimate animal survivor!
